Raita is an Indian cucumber yoghurt sauce. It easy to make and delicious and fresh.
I really like it in summers because it's so refreshing. I first ate this with some papadums, but since then i tried it with different stuff. Nowadays it is one the side dishes that return on the table quite often.
Recipe for 10 people.
Prep Time: 5 min.
Cooking Time: 5 min.
Ingredients:
2 cups Greek yoghurt,
1 Cucumber,
4 big Garlic Cloves,
2 tsp Cumin,
2 tbsp fresh Chives,
1 tbsp fresh chopped Mint leaves,
a pinch of Cayenne Pepper,
Salt & Pepper.
Recipe:
Grate the Cucumber.
Chop the garlic and other Spices.
Mix the Cucumber with the Yoghurt and Spices.
