Gordon Revolucion Xplosion

I saw this bottle a few times before in the stores but this time I couldn't let it go, I had to buy it and try it.

I drank different beers of Gordon before, and must admit I do like it. The soft hopping of the beer with nice notes and a flavour that doesn't bore.

The only downside it has to my opinion is that the size off the 50 cl can is a bit to big. So this bottle has the perfect size of 33 cl.

So first some info.

  • 9% Alc.

  • Blonde beer

  • Low fermentation

  • Strong flavoured beer with Tequila

  • Serving temperature: 4° - 6°

  • 33cl

Sooo... Let's take this to the test!

After the first sip I decided I undoubtedly like it. The beer has the same soft hopping taste like the other Gordon-beers. The tequila flavour is more subtle then other Tequila flavoured beers like Desperados, Salito or Cubanisto. Especially the citrus tones are less. But It doesn't bother because you do taste the warmth of the strong beer. It is delicious, but I believe it can be a treacherous beer because you don't notice the amount of alcohol that really is in it.

All by all I recommend Gordon Revolucion Xplosion.
