This recipe I made the first time to make cocktails with. So I made it extra spicy so you don't need to use that much. I like to mix it with sparkly water for a refreshing lemonade, with hot water for ginger tea, or in a cocktail.
The fact is that since I have this I also use it a lot for little ailments like nausea and colds.
Just take a tablespoon of the sirup and you will feel better soon.
As you probably know ginger is great for a lot of things.

It helps reducing symptoms of osteoarthritis.
Ginger lowers blood sugar levels and improves various heart disease risk factors in patients with type 2 diabetes.
Speeds up emptying of the stomach which can be beneficial for people with indigestion or other related stomach discomfort.

Gingerol, the bioactive substance in fresh ginger, can help lower the risk of infections. Ginger extract can inhibit the growth of many different types of bacteria. It is effective against oral bacteria linked to inflammatory diseases in the gums such as gingivitis and periodontitis.
Fresh ginger may also be effective against the RSV virus - aka a cold.
